DATE CHOCOLATE

Easy to make and healthy snack! We love these yummy medjool dates covered in chocolate.

Cut medjool dates in two and push down firmly in a bread form with parchment paper. Have the sticky part facing up and with a little overlay to keep the dates attached together. Melt dark chocolate and pour it evenly over the dates.
If you want homemade chocolate; melt together in a pot 1 dl cacao butter which is about 3 medium sized chunks cacao butter, 3 tbsp raw criollo cacao powder, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 1/2 tsp. coconut butter (can skip) and a pinch of salt. Stir together and it is done. You can decide to use cacao butter or coconut butter, either is good.

For extra taste add roasted pecans that’s cut in smaller pieces on top.

Put a cover over the bread form to keep smells out and let it freeze for an hour. Take out of the fridge and cut into 3cm x 3cm pieces. Put in a box and store in the freezer.
